I believe that my gggrandfather, N B ASKEW (ESKEW) died somewhere along the movement from Perryville, KY south to Murfreesboro, TN in Oct/Nov 1862...possibly as a result of the smallpox epidemic that caused the quarantine of the unit. Does anyone know where the victims of this calamity were buried, or where any records of this can be found?
