N. B . Askew, Private, Company L, 13th Tennessee Infantry, enlisted March 8, 1862 at La Grange/Grand Junction, Tenn. by Capt. C. B. Jones for 2 years or the war, died November 11, 1862 at Knoxville, Pneumonia

Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers Who Served in Organizations from the State of Tennessee

The regiment was held in reserve at Perryville returning to Knoxville soon thereafter

I suspect he would have been buried in the Knoxville Confederate cemetery. I have not been able to obtain their list of burials.

Also in Company L was John E. Askew, 20, who may have been a brother. It is possible that he had N. B.’s body shipped home for burial.
