William B. Buchanan 1860 census info???
In Response To: William B. Buchanan, Dover ()

Hi Joe -

assume you have perused the 1860 Stewart Co. census docs for Wm. B. already?

Have noticed his name myself when I was doing some research on the members of Weller's (Taylor's)Company B there at Ft. Henry a few years ago.

Sounds like Buchanan was one of the "Stewart County homeboys" at Ft. Henry.

Am still interested in finding more info about the "die hards" under Tilghman that day; got a few images of some of the participants -- Tilghman, Taylor, ggg-uncle George (see URL below), his cousin Marion M. Bailey; am looking for more....!!?!?!

y.v.o.s.,

Ken
