Re: Clarksville CWRT October meeting

Ed,

The 14th Tennessee, which formed in Clarksville, had in Co. A, 29 men from Stewart College, then in our town. Of that 16 were KIA, and 7 died of wounds or disease.

I can possibly find out what the overall casualties were. The bulk of the 14th, 49th and 50th Tennessee were from Clarksville/Montgomery County, with a few other companies from other units as well. Clarksville had 5000 people in 1860.
