Okay guys, I really need your help. John Lane, in his official report of the Battle of Spring Hill, says he "changed my front forward on the First Battalion..." What does this mean? I think I have asked five people and gotten five different answers. Lane was a brigade commander in charge of six regiments if that is at all helpful. Thanks.
