Just in case you are thinking of the note on E-Bay. I can't see clearly but, it seems to be authentic series D.Whether the original I'm not sure. There are some bills of this printing that are on smaller paper and more rare. As a rule the last printing are worth the least because many more than authorized were printed the total number is not known but notes from the Feb.17,1864 printing are the most common. If real it was printed Feb.17,1864,the last printing, note(at my end is Series B, Number 13310) signatures are different .That doesn't necessarily mean anything because of series change.Engraved by Keatridge& Ball,Columbia South Carolina, and printed partly in red on white paper. The back of the bill has no printing. There is speculation as to why if you are interested. Thus the space for the Lost Cause. In the circle lower left says "Deo Vindice" above George Washington on a horse translated means God vindicates, avenges, protects or defends. There are four varieties(series) of the bill.I'm glad I could be of help."Keep it dear friend and show it."It was more than money as the poem states.
