Go to www.mississippiscv.org and click on "Research Help," then "General MS Confederate Research Suggestions." There is info in there about free VA headstones. You can contact SCV Camps in the area of his burial for help with a ceremony. To find nearby camps, go to www.scv.org and click on the pull-down tabs at the top of the page until you find the "Find a Camp" tab.
