If you go to Tennesseans in the Civil War, Part 2, you will find a Paschal C. Sorrell, Pvt., Co. E, 47th Inf.

These listing were taken from the Compiled Service Records [CSR] of Confederate Soldiers who served from the state of Tennessee.

Forget Lindsey as the final source of information. It was published in the 1880s from the memories of men who served. Obviously, many errors abound.

What you find at the National Archives on microfilm with copies at the Tennessee State Library and Archives in Nashville are records compiled mainly from Company bi-monthly muster rolls. That's as close as you can get.
