This is another reason why I posted the earlier message to you. My ancestors, Buchanans, have a cemetery "located 1.2 miles N. on Hwy 79 on right bank of Bear Creek". They are buried along people named Tubbs. They were contemporaries of Jack Hinson, had to have known him. One was born in 1831 and I never found a service record for him.

Another ancestor, A J Gardner served is the one who served in Co. E, 10th TN Cav. and when water was impounded to the Lake, his grave was moved to Boyd Memorial Cemetery. Is that the one where Jack Hinson is buried?
