B. H. Duvall apparently was a confederate guerilla leader in eastern Tennessee(Johnson and Carter Counties in particular)in 1864 and 1865. He came to the forefront after Bloody Bill Parker (who led an outlaw gang of Confederate home guard) was tracked down and killed by Unionist armed men after a series of bloody depredations against local citizens in the fall of 1864.
