Thank you for the reply. I have a few other names since I posted last. There were two known authors that were held at Johnson's Island. One was John Watson Morton of Forrest's Cavalry. Morton later wrote The Artillery of Nathan Bedford Forrest's Cavalry. The other author that I know of is Henry Kyd Douglas who wrote I Rode With Stonewall. I have a couple of other names but these two are easy to remember.
