I have transcribed the military service records of this company. Also, I have gathered up much other information on the men of the company, including pension records, UCV membership, Southern Cross of Honor recipients, obituaries, etc. On November 16, 2008 a memorial service and headstone dedication was performed at New Concord Cemetery in Calloway County, KY, for James Carter Stubblefield of Company C. The new VA headstone had the inscription "Confederate Medal of Honor" for his action at Murfreesboro, TN. Eaves was the only other Confederate Medal of Honor recipient in the company.
