Ray,

I agree with you. Two branches of my family were residents of Stewart County during the War and that is why I bought the book. It was dissappointing to me there were hardly any references for that vicinity, but it gives me an idea of the harshness of the Occupation. It would please me to find out that any of my ancestors were defending their homes and being called bushwhackers for doing so.
