Where can I find information on the Calvary Escort for Gen. N. B. Forrest? I would like to get some information on a soldier named Jordan Hale Womack, who was listed in the Escort Calvary.
I would like to obtain some pictures of the soldiers. Also, would like to know if after the war, if they had any reunions, etc. Jordan Hale Womack did survive the war and died sometime between 1900 and 1905 in Tn. He was born Bedford county, Tn, the same county where the Forrest family lived.
