Jim, by early 1864 the town was in the hands of the Yankee's, so I feel sure there were few, if any burials there from late 1863 until after the war. Ms. Winstead told me that many Confederate's were moved from different locations around Knoxville and buried in the cemetery during and after the war. The men who died at Middlebrook surely would have been buried there. I've seen nothing to the contrary, but anything is possible. Bob
