Spent the day at TSLA, they had no copy but the archivist found a little more info on the book. The full title is " A War Story, or My Experiences in a Yankee Prison" . Originally published in 1901, last published in 1987 by Robert Hardy Publications of Suffolk, VA. I'm still looking. I did find the Lawson book (Wheeler's Last Raid) it contains several quotes from Ben Darsey, so obviously he found a copy.
