The company (K) of the 6th Texas came out of San Antonio, Texas in 1862. But the 7th Texas was raise in 1861 and formed in 1862, from what I understand. There is a is a gentleman by the name of Walker, or a Jeff Bell, both of Waco who might be able to help you.
