Does anyone have anything on a Captain Marmion. I think he was an artillery officer in the Brazos area. If I'm reading the OR correctly, he was put aboard the gunboat JF Carr with an artillery detachment to slow down the Union advance in Matagorda Bay. Don't know his first name.
