I've been transcribing the CSR roll of Good's Tx Cav Bn, and have run across several soldiers with the following reference slip: see the personal papers of J.W. Peebles, Dooma's Co., Bourland's Rgt. Could anyone shed any light on the individual, his company and maybe what the papers consist of.
