William A. Seaton, Lane's Reg.

My ancestor, William A. Seaton, in his pension app (2 July 1903) states that he served in "Col. Lane's Regiment, Capt. McCoy or McKay's Company", Texas Cavalry. W.A. Seaton did not recall the letter of the company or of his regiment.

I could not find a Seaton on the roster of Lane's Regiment, 1st Texas Partisans. Any help identifying the regiment and company in which W.A. Seaton served, and any regimental history, would be greatly appreciated.
