The Donaldsonville Artillery arrived by train in Richmond on 10/5/1861 and where sent to Rocketts where they camped until receiving orders sending them to Yorktown in November 1861. Is there a source that reflects that the Canonniers where camped at the Texans' Camp Texas in the Richmond suburb of Rocketts?
