First, that should be "Captain H.T. Davis" but the question is, "How did 'Captain Henry T. Davis' physically get from Fort Davis on Dec 24th, 1862 to Red River Station, Montague Co TX on Dec 29th, 1862? ..Maybe that's why Henry T. Davis received zero votes for the rank of 'major' of the 'Texas Frontier Regiment (T.F.R.).'
