Re: Maj Davis; McCord's Frontier Regt, Co F

I have recently found a statement that my ancestor John Scott born about 1824 AL died in 1864 in Warwickshire, England in the Civil War. How can that be? I did not even know there were Civil War soldiers over in England. How can I find out more about this? I noticed you said your Civil War soldier died in England so I thought you might be able to help. I also found a story about Warwickshire, England that mentioned Nelson Clements, a buyer from Texas. My Scott family married into a Clements family. I wonder if they had anything to do with each other. Thanks.
