This is my G-Grandfather & I am having a horrific time finding any information on this "Pvt. Co K Hoods Brig- 5th Texas Inf CSA" information. I looked on Ancestry.com & all I see is "Alleged Frauds against certain Indian Soldiers."
If anyone knows anything to help my research I'd greatly appreciate it.
