I am not sure if he used different names or not. he has been a hard one to find a lot of info. on. I will be ordering the la. pension records to see just what is in them. I would not doubt he went under a different name. before he had my great great grand father he walked out on his family they never knew what happened to him. he started spelling his last name townson not townsend thats why my name is spelled townson. I will keep looking trying to find out. Thanks for everything and your time. When i get the pension papers I will let you no if they say he was there or if it may be somebody else or nothing helpfull at all. If you know anywhere else I could look Please let me know. But I will Look at different names to see. I hope the pension papers has the wife listed that may help. I have been getting most of my family tree together but stuck with zack. he really has my curiosity up. I have been searching him for about 8 months and I have found other people searching him a lot longer than that and they a stuck on him also. but they did help me learn a little more than I did know.
