Confederate Post at Marshall, Texas

Still seeking information from anyone concerning the Confederate Post at Marshall, Texas, 1863-65. My uncle, Col. Squire Boone, who commanded the 15th Arkansas (Northwest) Infantry, CSA, at the Battle of Corinth, Miss., was captured at Vicksburg. In his 1873 obituary, and Encyclopedia of the West, Arkansas, 1881, it states that after Vicksburg, Col. Boone commanded the post at Marshall, Texas until the end of the war. I have learned that the Trans-Mississippi Confederate Division Headquarters was located in Marshall from 1863-65. Surely somewhere there are records of this Confederate Headquarters, and a list of officers stationed there--or if there was another smaller post that Col. Boone may have commanded. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have probably emailed every library and university in Texas--and nobody knows about any confederate post in marshall, texas.
