Re: Confederate Post at Marshall, Texas

Am also looking for any information about civilian contractors at the Confederate Powder Mill in Marshall. My ancestor, Daniel Madison WADLEY (1826-1901) was working for the Confederate ordanance works in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, when it moved to Marshall. He was unable to enlist in the Confederate Army due to a physical disability, but he moved his entire family to Marshall to work there. He lost his wife and youngest daughter in Sep 1866 (they are both buried in Marshalll Cemetery) and then moved back to Arkadelphia. Would love to find any kind of listing that includes his name for this work. I've dropped by the county historical society and they had a little info, but not this. Any help would be appreciated.
