Hello, My great-great-grandfather John Richard Coggins and his brother Andrew Jackson Coggins served with Co. C, 24th Cavalry Regiment under Colonel F. C. Wilkes. They were also called 2nd Texas Lancers. He is listed on Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System in this unit, and also on Ancestry, but I can't seem to locate an image of a muster roll with them listed on it. I don't have a footnote account so I can't look there. Does anyone know how I could locate such an image and a copy of his original service record? Thank you so much, Cathey
