Re: William H, Givens Sr - Co. G 10th Tex Inf ?

Message to George Martin

I noted the information you added about Weslie (W.H.) Givens. He was my great great uncle. His name was Weston Harrison Givens and he died in 1864. Your information showed that he had been a POW and was released early in 1864. I have been searching for information about where he was buried and have not found anything. Do you show any further information about him?

William Henry Givens and James K. Givens were his brothers. You have also mentioned them in your response. I have a copy of the Oklahoma pension application for William Henry Givens and also for his wife. I do not have military records for any of them.

Thank you for your help.
