I am a direct descendent of Albert Haneman. We are trying to uncover as much information about him as possible. Albert was originally from Germany and came in to the US through NY. Apparently joind the US Calvary in the East. At some point in time he met two brothers with the last name Christian who were from Millican Texas which is by Bryan/College Station Texas. At the end of the war he traveled with the Christian brothers to Millican, met their sister, married her and stayed in the Millican area prior to moving to Bryan.
