The only thing is that soldier deaths of both armies at Camp Letterman appear to have been fairly well recorded. On the other hand, it so happens that five unmarked graves were reported at the Jesse Worley farm. I think it safe to say that unmarked graves there are more likely to represent Confederate soldiers. In addition, one Texan whose grave was well marked at the Worley farm died on 21 July, meaning that hospital was functioning on the date when W. H. H. Fields is reported to have died. Available information indicates all of the Confederates there were reinterred at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond. Incidentally, as of 1988, the Worley farm buildings were still standing in fine shape.
