Looking for Militery info on John Westley Daniel. I found a Confedate pention app. in 1904 by wife Mary Ann Daniel For J.W. Daniel/Daniels. It was disapproved. But she states that he was in Walker's Reg ( at least it looks like Walker). I am trying to run down if he was actually in the Confedrate army in the civil war. But I am not sure if the J. W. Daniel/daniels (death 1904 El Paso Texas) is the same person as my Great Grandfather John Westley Daniel (Birth: 1843 in Lawrence Co, Ky death unsure 1902-1905) and his wife Mary Ann. Any Help would be apprecated. I believe my John Mary Ann Daniel would have been in Van Zandt Co
