I'm in search of information about this company of cavalry formed in Prince William County, Virginia. The former Sheriff of Prince William County, William Brawner, became it's Captain. This unit was merged into Colonel John S. Mosby's command in the Spring of 1863. Brawner was killed in action soon after at Seneca Locks in Maryland during a raid to support the Gettysburg Campaign.
