Thanks for the info. I have not contacted the Suffolk Historical Society. My wife and I are really excited of the history behind the house. Even if it doesn't all pan out to be true just the mere age of the house. We were constructing a wall where we thought there was one at one time and found that, we were right. The orginal builder used 2x2's that were pegged into the top and bottom boards. Making it extremely stable.

We have done some digging in the backyard to place a shed and found an old sickle and a few parts to an old iron stove.

But any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. You can tell your contacts that we live at 212 South Street in Franklin.
