Hope you and your pards had a great weekend. What unit do you guys portray? I was over that way five or six years ago, and had a very nice visit, although it did rain throughout the weekend. I pretty much hang out with the 10th KY Inf., even though I'm too old to convincingly portray a period grunt. I just do the local town doctor persona.

Thanks again for the tips. I have a copy of the Tazewell county history in the mail now, but expect each answered question to raise several news ones in its' place. If you, or anyone, should know of any other local resources, such as surviving newspaper archives(assumming grandpa didn't burn them all), that would be greatly appreciated as well.

P.S. The county roads you mentioned do show on google earth satelite photos.
