I would like to update everyone on my research on Confederate veterans in Montgomery County, IN. A little over a year ago I posted my first message on this web-site. I proudly announced that there were at least 27 Confederate veterans buried in Montgomery County. Now after a year of research, I have the names of 66 men buried here in Montgomery County with another 4 who spent enough time here that memorial stones have been erected even though the men are buried elsewhere. They were taken home for burial. There are also another 19 veterans who spent a significant amount of time here in the county, but who are buried in surrounding counties. I would like to share this data base with anyone who is interested. Please advise on how to share this information. Both data bases are on Micrsoft Excel.
