Bryce:

Here's what I have:

According to the by-name casualty list submitted after the battle by Wm. F. Price, A.A.A.G. [acting Assistant Adjutant General], during the battle for "J.M. Jones' old brigade" (2nd Regimental Gp) was commanded by Col. R.H. Dungan [48Va]. The 21Va was commanded by Lt. Col. Moseley; the 25Va by Maj. Wils Harper; 42Va by Capt. P.B. Gravely; 44Va by Col. N. Cobb; and 48Va by Lt. Col. White. Price reported that the brigade (2d Regimental Gp) had the following casualties based on nominal list in Richmond Daily Examiner, 865/02/24:

21st Va : KIA 0; MWIA 1; WIA 6; Total 7
25th Va: KIA 1; MWIA 1; WIA 4; Total 6
42nd Va: KIA 0; MWIA 0; WIA 6; Total 6
44th Va: KIA 1; MWIA 0; WIA 9; Total 10
48th Va: KIA 2; MWIA 0; WIA 9; Total 11
Brigade Total: KIA 4; MWIA: 2; WIA 34; Total 40

The by-name list I came up with for the 42nd Va. shows 7 wounded, one more than reported in 1865.
