Is it possible that Francis Kitchen enlisted and went AWOL on the same day ?
Is it likely ? Date in question is June 1 1863.
Where does it show he's in Wash.DC prison ?
Is it Union ( POW ) prison ?
Further thoughts would be appreciated.
