Thank you. I read the info about his pension application a few years ago but can't find anything about what battles he got wounded in. On the application he stated he was at Winchester, Kanawha and some others that I couldn't make out because it was hand written. Said he served under Poague also. I thought this odd since Poague commanded artillery. His brother Peter Goad served in the 29th and 45th Va inf also, can't find anything on him either other than being wounded at Cloyd's Mtn.
