Andrew Jackson Hoffman

Sirs: I have tried everything I know to find the death date of my ancestor, Andrew Jackson Hoffman...newspaper obits, clerk's office records, cemetery and church records, UDC, SCV etc., and I'm at a brick wall. He was a soldier in Company G, 49th Regiment, VA and also was a prisoner at
Elmira, New York. He did apply and receive a pension of $15.00 a month, which was filed May 18, 1904 with Auditer of Public Accounts, Judge Daniel A. Grimsley, Culpeper, Virginia. Thanks,
Wayne F. Baldwin
