Dont have access or PC files available at the moment... but if the subject was from Petersburg and was present at Weldon RR on Aug 18th... I would check on the units of Mahones Brigade... The 12th Va had several companies from Petersburg, Co.B and C were I know of right off hand... also if memory serves correctly a few Co's of the 61st Va in Mahones were also from the area there...and several others... Just a thought...
