Lawrence, age 23, Bugler, 5th Virginia Cavalry, believe a resident of Petersburg, enlisted April 7, 1862 at Petersburg, was admitted to the Confederate States Hospital, Petersburg, Va. August 1, 1864, returned to duty August 16, horse killed in action at Woodstock, Shenandoah County, Va. October 9, 1864, present with regiment October 19, 1884
