Thanks y'all Like Roger, I always thought....!

Thanks for the input y'all. Like Roger said, I always thouht that light infantry carried the shorter, lighter "two-band" rifle, no knapsacks(back-packs), etc.. Simply lighter, more managable weapons, with lighter and less equipment, etc., for light quick movements in the field and in battle, and with smaller, faster units, tactics, and formations. I always thought heavy infantry toted the big "three-bander" rifled-muskets, knapsacks, moved in larger slower formations, etc. . But I just wanted to get some input from y'all.
