In Response To: Oh, and also... ()

to Dr. Ken Jones (and friends):
Thanks for the muster roll of Co D, 12th AL. Inf.
i.e.
PARSONS, J. M.
PARSONS, S. R.
PARSONS, William Alexander [1827--1864] (KIA, Cedar Creek, VA, 19 Oct 64;
original burial: Winchester, VA; burial: Dogwood Grove Cemetery, SW
Jefferson Co., AL)

there is no doubt that our GGgrandfather,
Samuel Reed Parsons, is the S. R. Parsons in Co. D, 12th AL Inf.
His brother is William Alexander (KIA at Cedar Creek, VA)
and James M. is an older brother.
They are buried in the Parsons family plot at the Dogwood Cemetery in Jefferson Co. AL.
Thanks again for all your help,
Susan
