There is a mention in the family history about Reddick Dishough being transfered to the 21st. Ala after his unit disbanded. I don't know if his first unit was a Louisiana Regt. or not.

I don't know where he was living in 1860, but his father was named Augustin DesChamps and he lived somewhere in Tennessee.

Reddick either died or was killed at some point in time after the Ft. Gaines engagement.

That is the extent of my knowledge.
