The time that it takes to type the list is not the problem. The problem is identifying the one you want. If I were serious about finding him I would go to a major public library or university and review the compiled service records of each of these men. Sometimes a little information is included that will give you a clue. Next I would go to the Alabama Department of Archives and Records in Montgomery and review pension records. If his widow filed it should show up. As a matter of fact, if I lived near Montgomery I would do this first.

Clark county residents enlisted in a number of units. Other contributors to this board are very familiar with units associated with particular counties. I am not. I had a relative form Clark Co. who was in the 21st Al ., but none of the names listed below are with that unit. I could have overlooked a couple of names and my typing is not the best. This may serve as a starting point.
