Alan, I agree that the numbers can be played to fit almost any need. I think you have proved that in the past. Please notice my first post in this thread, LSU states losses in dead and wounded. Notice too, they stand on the lost record thing. I stand to be corrected, but I believe that is their figure for the battlefield. If that is the case, it is a crying shame. Hoping we can get reasonable figures together and try to correct the number somewhat.
