There is no proff that Winston Co. left the State of Alabama during the War. But the County send more men to the Union Army than any other County in the State. And Winston County also send a few young Men to the C.S.A. Army .There is a grave yard in Natural Bridge, in Winston Co. that has two Brothers buried side by side one Brother has a C.S.A Army tome stone and the other a U.S.A. stone.
