As stated, if you mean an Alabama County, you are talking about Winston County. However, it was never "seceded" from the State as a vote was never taken, even though there was much discussion about doing so. There is much debate on whether it left the Union, but this is the fact and the debate ends there.

There is also a Mississippi County who is said to have seceded from that State, but I do not know the particulars of that story.
