The family genealogy indicates George "owns considerable real estate and a cotton plantation near the city." This would have been 1907 or close to it.

Also, I located a descendant's older messages at www.genforum.genealogy.com -- TODD Surname Forum, which indicated a street was named for him. Tried to contact this descendant unsuccessfully.

So, I suppose the court and the street could be one and the same.

Do you know more about George H. TODD? Are you a relative?
